A Breezy but Beautiful Bike & Hike

Bike and Hike Festival for LifeMore than 125 people participated in the 38th annual Bike & Hike Festival for Life on Saturday, May 6.

In addition to biking and walking the winding path through Johnson Park, participants enjoyed a free picnic lunch, live entertainment, face painting, sidewalk chalking, and a children’s play area.

Anyone who submitted $100 or more in pledges received a “Choose Life” T-shirt. This fun gift was worn immediately by many young children and the park was dotted with positive, prolife messages.

Throughout the park, educational signs were placed offering fun facts about fetal development, adoption, and the sanctity of all human life.

Many people stopped by just to shop the Spring Plant Sale, which was made possible due to generous donations from area nurseries.

This family-friendly event was sponsored by West Michigan Bike & Fitness, Brennan Dentistry, James W. Price, Jessie Seven, and Michael Tarach.
