Prolife People Peacefully Protest PP

On Friday, April 28, Grand Rapids Right to Life sponsored a local rally, which was part of the National Day of Prayer and Protest Against Planned Parenthood.

More than 50 people peacefully stood outside of the Planned Parenthood clinic in Grand Rapids to draw attention to the need to defund the nation’s largest abortion chain. This Planned Parenthood facility now offers chemical (RU-486) abortions on Mondays.

Prolife people are demanding that all federal funding for Planned Parenthood be redirected to Federally Qualified Health Centers that do not perform abortions.

Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion chain in the nation, is embroiled in controversy from medicaid fraud to harvesting aborted baby body parts, and exaggerates their role in providing health care to women.

A news crew from a local television station drove past the rally … twice … but they did not stop and cover the event, presumably due to the absence of controversial counter-protesters.
