GRRTL Rocks the Block

Young people of all ages were drawn to the Grand Rapids Right to Life table at the Rock the Block street festival by the chance to play “Minute to Win It” games and win prolife prizes.

Racing against time, participants played Bolt Build, Ping Pong Pass, Dice Stack, Penny Drop, Cookie Face, and Quarter Mug.  Each game was challenging but fun and winners were able to choose a prize; a prolife magnet, bookmark, sticker, or pin.

Sponsored by LINC Community Revitalization, Rock the Block has evolved since 2011 to become a large street fair with vendors, resources, and entertainment where residents can listen to great bands, sample local food, connect with non-profit organizations, and take in Madison Square’s rich cultural history.

The event was held on Saturday, June 10, and drew crowds estimated in the thousands.

By hosting a booth, Grand Rapids Right to Life had the opportunity to connect with residents and share the message of how precious all life is.
