Roughly 100 people gathered on Thursday, March 14, to hear Dr. Monica Miller, author of the book Abandoned, speak at Aquinas College.

Miller’s book recounts her experiences on the front lines of the abortion wars.

As a pioneer of the prolife rescue movement and a veteran sidewalk counselor, Miller discovered more than 5,000 discarded babies in abortion clinic dumpsters in Chicago and Milwaukee and fought to give them a proper burial.

Miller discussed the importance of the prolife movement and the need for every person to get involved in some way.  Abandoned can be checked-out of the Right to Life of Michigan Educational Resource Center in Grand Rapids.
