Car Hop Coin Drop, held on Thursday, July 18, was an opportunity to offer a Coins for Kids baby bottle drive, normally hosted by churches or schools, to the entire community.
Supporters drove through the Grand Rapids Right to Life parking lot, donated their spare change, and shopped for prolife items.
This fundraiser reminded people to pray for women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy, for men struggling to be supportive fathers, and for the unborn, who are often targeted for abortion in a difficult situation.
Those who were unable to participate on July 18 visited the office in the days before and after this outdoor event to donate their collected coins. A QR code also allowed people to donate securely online.
Through the generosity of contributors, Car Hop Coin Drop raised almost $700 to help the prolife efforts of Grand Rapids Right to Life and the work of six local pregnancy care centers that distribute material goods to moms and babies.
