Golfers Swing for Life

A beautiful day greeted the guests at the 18th annual Prolife Golf Classic held on Monday, June 2, at Pilgrim’s Run Golf Club.

More than 100 golfers enjoyed 18 holes of golf, practice balls, a delicious grilled lunch, on-course games, and an opportunity to test their skills against an LPGA player.

LPGA professional, Nishtha Madan, challenged players to a game of Beat the Pro. Brave golfers had a chance to drive for glory and win prizes.

The team of Jon Reimink, Max Sieplinga, Scott Seegersma, and Dave Visser were back on top again as they placed first place in the open division.

Mary Ann Mancewicz, Sue Condit, Kate Stec, and Nancy Kennedy toppled the reigning team and placed first in the women’s division.

Jim and Mary Veldheer paired with Ron and Joyce Williams to win first place in the mixed division.

Cash prizes were awarded to the winners of the following on-course games:

  • Maureen Kozel – Women’s Longest Drive
  • Larry Boone – Men’s Longest Drive
  • Joyce Williams – Women’s Closest to the Pin
  • Rev. Len Sudlik – Men’s Closest to the Pin

The Prolife Golf Classic was a great opportunity to be in the fresh air and support a great cause.
