The 19th annual Pro-Life Golf Classic was a sold-out event on Monday, June 1, at beautiful Pilgrim’s Run Golf Club.
Golfers enjoyed a continental breakfast, practice balls, 18 holes of golf, a delicious grilled lunch, on-course games, and an opportunity to test their skills against an LPGA player.
All participants received a cool golf towel with the new Grand Rapids Right to Life logo.
New this year, prizes were awarded to the top three teams in each division.
Although their team included some new members, Scott Siegersma, Dave Visser, Mason Bohlinger, and Ben VanScoyk still placed first place in the men’s division.
Cheryl Heintz, Carey Neilson, Maureen Kozel, and Lindsey Williams became the new champions in the women’s division.
Ann Natte pulled together a stellar team to win first place in the mixed division. Her golfing partners included Ace Natte, Larry Boone, and Nick Boone.
Cash prizes were awarded to the winners of the following on-course games:
- Lindsey Williams – Women’s Longest Drive
- Matt Mojzak – Men’s Longest Drive
- Lindsey Williams – Women’s Closest to the Pin
- Carsyn VanderWeele – Men’s Closest to the Pin
The Pro-Life Golf Classic was a great opportunity to play a prestigious golf, network with likeminded people, and support a great cause.
