POSITION:  PROLIFE AMBASSADOR

OBJECTIVE
Increase the number of West Michigan conservative Christian adults that actively engage with the mission of Grand Rapids Right to Life.

PROFILE OF CANDIDATE

  • Motivated to create and execute on ideas to accomplish their mission.
  • Not afraid to try things, make mistakes, and learn from them.
  • Has a passion for Grand Rapids Right to Life’s mission.
  • Has experience working for churches or other mission-based organizations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively engage West Michigan Conservative Christians.
  • Educate, motivate, and build people’s confidence to get involved.
  • Build relationships with other organizations and churches.
  • Speak at churches, at events, and on radio programs.
  • Participate in any other crazy but practical approach that you can develop.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A passionate supporter of Grand Rapids Right to Life’s mission.
  • Experience working for a church or other mission-based organization.
  • Willing and able to work nights and weekends as required.
  • Engaging, enterprising, self-assured, outgoing, articulate, organized.
  • Have demonstrated effectiveness in prospect identification and cultivation.
  • Have reliable transportation.
  • College graduate preferred or commensurate experience.

CONSTRUCTS OF ROLE

  • 24 hours per week.
  • Can be a full-time position if interested in student outreach duties.
  • Expected to be out working in the community much of the time.
  • Home base at Grand Rapids Right to Life’s office in Wyoming.

 

POSITION:  STUDENT COORDINATOR

OBJECTIVE
Effectively maintain all student programs and develop and implement new student activities to enhance youth outreach and education.

PROFILE OF CANDIDATE

  • Not afraid to try things, make mistakes, and learn from them.
  • Has a passion for Grand Rapids Right to Life’s mission.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Youth work experience.
  • Computer software proficiency and social media knowledge.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedule speaking engagements with area youth groups and schools.
  • Effectively maintain and grow all student programs.
  • Develop and implement new student activities.
  • Organize and assist Students for Life groups in high schools and colleges.
  • Coordinate student volunteers for all GRRTL events.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A passionate supporter of Grand Rapids Right to Life’s mission.
  • Enjoy working with students from grade school to college level.
  • Willing and able to work nights and weekends as required.
  • Engaging, outgoing, articulate, organized.
  • Have reliable transportation.
  • College graduate preferred or commensurate experience.

  • 16 hours per week.
  • Expected to be out working in the community much of the time.
  • Home base at Grand Rapids Right to Life’s office in Wyoming.
