Jennifer Evans won the Prolife Oratory Contest, sponsored by Grand Rapids Right to Life, and a $125 scholarship.
In the fall, Jennifer will attend Grace Bible College in Grand Rapids to study Elementary Education. She hopes to continue at Kendall College to study art in the future.
During her presentation, Jennifer spoke about standing up for her prolife beliefs. Recently she created a series of drawings and submitted them for an art competition. Her work was initially rejected due to the life-affirming nature of her creation, but was later accepted due to her persistence.
On May 18, Jennifer will compete against more than 20 other contestants in the Right to Life of Michigan statewide Oratory Contest.
