Greta Worm won the Prolife Youth Award, sponsored by Grand Rapids Right to Life, and a $50 scholarship, based on an essay and her volunteer work with Grand Rapids Right to Life.
“The key way to spreading the [prolife] message isn’t always from a global stance,” Greta wrote in her essay. “It has to start local, starting from the family, the school, and the community. Informing those close to you is a small ripple that begins the wave of social change regarding life.”
Worm’s essay and history of volunteer work has been submitted to Right to Life of Michigan. She will now compete for the state Prolife Youth Award.
