Despite an afternoon downpour, Grand Rapids Right to Life’s second annual Eastown Street Fair booth was a success.
The bright red tent and table caught peoples’ eyes and drew them in, as did the big prize wheel — Grand Rapids Right to Life’s newest “toy” for expos and fairs. Players had the opportunity to win a variety of prolife prizes, including stickers, bookmarks, and pins.
As always, the table caused mixed reactions among passersby. While many people were appreciative of a prolife presence in Eastown, others expressed their reasons for supporting abortion.
These conversations were overwhelmingly respectful, and Grand Rapids Right to Life volunteers were glad to have the opportunity to dialogue with so many thoughtful people.
