As the year came to a close, Grand Rapids Right to Life once again celebrated the many dedicated volunteers who have served faithfully in ways large and small.
On Tuesday, December 6, almost 30 people gathered at Railside Golf Club in Byron Center for a delicious lunch, followed by cake from Steenstra’s Royal Dutch Bakery. With the golf course’s snow-covered hills, the stunning red and silver decorations, and everyone dressed in their best holiday attire, the Christmas spirit was felt by all.
Grand Rapids Right to Life president, Susan Palazzolo, personally thanked each volunteer for all they did throughout the year. Whether they served on an event committee, hosted a Coins for Kids baby bottle fundraiser, or prepared mailings for the office staff, everyone present played a vital role in keeping Grand Rapids Right to Life running in 2016.
Although the guests received Grand Rapids Right to Life’s new “Celebrate Life” mug, no gift is large enough to repay the many hours each volunteer has sacrificed to help keep the culture of life alive and growing in West Michigan!
