Prolife people enjoyed casual conversation in a coffee shop when the second installment of Life in the 616 was held on Thursday, August 1, at Baker Book House Café.
Patty Korte, chairman of the board for Grand Rapids Right to Life, discussed the importance of raising prolife children in a pro-choice world. She shared how everyday conversations and community involvement were simple ways to live out one’s prolife conviction. Since children model what they see and hear, adults need to make opportunities to participate in the prolife movement and to discuss life issues. Being prolife should simply become a part of who a family is.
The group talked about impacting not only their young children, but how to influence teens, adult children, and grandchildren on the importance of being an advocate for life.
