Thayer Inspires People to Pray

Prolife people gathered at Wild Roast Coffee Company for some delicious drinks and casual conversation for Life in the 616, which was held on Thursday, November 7.

Mary Jo Thayer, a convert to active prolife ministry, spoke about how she was petrified the first time she prayed in front of an abortion facility. Despite one’s fears, abortion numbers markedly decrease when someone is outside of a clinic, praying and standing in solidarity with the unborn child.

Thayer encouraged people to take that first step and to pray in front of Heritage Clinic for Women, the local surgical abortion facility. She armed those in attendance with prayer booklets, gave suggestions on how to overcome their fears, and shared stories about positive experiences she had while publicly praying to end abortion.
