For the third year in a row, the Prolife Golf Classic was a sold-out event!
A persistent light rain did not dampen the spirits of the 144 golfers who participated in the 15th annual outing on Monday, June 6, at Pilgrim’s Run Golf Club.
Golfers of all ages and skill levels enjoyed 18 holes of golf, practice balls, a delicious grilled lunch, on-course games, and an opportunity to Putt with Brenna, chairman of the event.
Using very few mulligans, Peter James, Zach Bemben, Josh Gray, and Nate Jansma won first place in the open division.
Ann Natte, Christine Estep, Jeanne Prebble, and Rachelle Smit’s team once again placed first in the women’s division.
Roger and Sharon Sneller and Dave and Jane Mulder won first place in the mixed division. This was the second year in a row for the Snellers to be a part of the winning team.
Dick’s Sporting Goods gift cards were awarded to the winners of the following on-course games:
- Kate Stec – Women’s Longest Drive
- Don Jakel – Men’s Longest Drive
- Dave Visser – Straightest Drive
- Ed Steffens – Closest to the Pin
- Jim Ankerberg – Longest Putt
