Five high school students were educated and inspired on Friday, August 5, at the fourth Leadership for Life Base Camp.

The day was filled with a variety of activities, interactive games, and prayer in front of Grand Rapids’ only free-standing surgical abortion facility.

Fun icebreakers helped the female participants know one another better and forge new friendships.

Thomas Lawrence, Life Educator for Grand Rapids Right to Life, gave a presentation on the Art of Prolife Persuasion and helped students understand how to answer the difficult questions posed by those who support abortion.

Tammy Erste, Prolife Ambassador for Grand Rapids Right to Life, gave her personal testimony and spoke about how each student needed to speak boldly for life and help those who struggle with an unplanned pregnancy.

The students left equipped with the tools to defend their prolife values and encouraged to live their prolife convictions.
