Beautiful weather greeted the participants at the 44th annual Pedals & Petals event on Saturday, May 6.

This family-friendly fundraiser included biking and walking the path at Johnson Park, a free picnic lunch, live music, face painting, a coloring station, a play area, and shopping for spring flowers.

The day came together through the efforts of tireless volunteers who helped with set-up, food preparation, the flower sale, and children’s activities.

As always, the plant sale was busy with supporters shopping for beautiful baskets, bushes, flats, and bulbs. Generous donations from area greenhouses made this element of the day possible.
