Hiring: Prolife Ambassador

Are you passionately prolife? Energetic and outgoing? Laser-focused on the life issues?

Think you have what it takes to engage pastors, motivate adults, and energize the youth for the prolife movement?

Can you pick up the phone and make a call? Schedule a meeting and shake a hand? Competently deal with rejection and opposition?

Wanted: Prolife Ambassador

The ideal candidate will be someone who can increase the number of West Michigan conservative Christian adults that actively engage with the mission of Grand Rapids Right to Life.

Profile of Candidate

  • Self-motivated to create and execute on ideas to accomplish the mission.
  • Not afraid to try things, make mistakes, and learn from them.
  • Has a passion for Grand Rapids Right to Life’s mission.
  • Is able to support Right to Life of Michigan PAC-endorsed candidates.
  • Has experience working for churches or other mission-based organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively engage West Michigan conservative Christians.
  • Educate, motivate, and build people’s confidence to get involved.
  • Build relationships with other organizations and churches.
  • Engage local church youth groups.
  • Speak at churches, at events, and on radio programs.
  • Participate in any other crazy but practical approach that you can develop.

Qualifications

  • A passionate supporter of Grand Rapids Right to Life’s mission.
  • Willing and able to work nights and weekends as required.
  • Engaging, enterprising, self-assured, outgoing, articulate, organized.
  • Have demonstrated effectiveness in prospect identification and cultivation.
  • Have reliable transportation.
  • College graduate preferred or commensurate experience.

Constructs of Position

  • 16 – 24 hours per week.
  • Expected to be out working in the community the majority of the time.
  • Home base at Grand Rapids Right to Life’s office in Wyoming.
